Payton Talbott stopped Deiveson Figueiredo at 2:09 of the first round at UFC 332, outlanding the former champion 25-5 in significant strikes.

The numbers look staggering. Five-to-one in strikes landed, two knockdowns, a finish in barely two minutes. But in pure differential terms — 20 strikes — it ranks outside the top 3,800 bouts in the OctagonStats database of 11,262 fights.

The truly lopsided performances in UFC history are much, much bigger. Here is the all-time list by significant-strike differential.

The Biggest Strike Differentials on Record

Holloway is the only fighter to appear twice — and both of his performances are in the top three.

Where Talbott vs. Figueiredo Ranks

By differential, Talbott's 25-5 does not belong on the list. It sits thousands of places below the leaders.

But the differential only tells part of the story. Talbott needed just 2:09. He dropped Figueiredo twice. And it was the first time in Figueiredo's career that he was stopped by strikes.

It was also Talbott's second straight win over a former champion, following his decision over Henry Cejudo at UFC 323. For context, read the full UFC 332 recap.

Ratio Can Tell a Different Story

Absolute differentials favor long fights — every entry in the top 10 except Diaz-Cerrone went 15 minutes or more. Measured by ratio, the most extreme beatdown on record is different:

Soriano's differential (137) ranks outside the top 10. His ratio is unmatched.

The Differential Is Not Everything

Rob Font outlanded Marlon Vera 271-159 at UFC on ESPN 35. He lost the decision.

Vera scored three knockdowns. Font landed more; Vera landed harder. The strike totals told the wrong story, and the judges got it right.

That is the lesson of every list like this. Differentials measure volume, not damage. When volume and damage align — Holloway-Kattar, Zhang-Lemos, Talbott-Figueiredo — the result is a beatdown. When they don't, the scorecards go the other way.
